VHCOA was established in 1998. Handling, supply and payments was highly disorganized in those days and Crane owners were few with plenty of Hurdles. Some enlightened Crane Owners visualised the need to organise themselves into an association to make concerted efforts to solve their own Hurdles. The result was the formation of"VISAKHAPATNAM HEAVY CRANE OWNERS ASSOCIATION” in 2015 and finally registered in 2016 at office of the registrar of Societies in Visakhapatnam. Registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies registration Act 2001.

Visakhapatnam is a beautiful place in Andhra-Pradesh is a semi Industrial hub having HPCL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and SEZ s. Visakhapatnam Heavy Crane Owners Association, being part of Financial Assisting to the AP Government by paying Life Tax to the Transport Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.And our Association played a major role in paying the service Tax as well as GST by executing Classes regarding GST and briefing the advantages and dis-advantages to the members as well as clients and convinced the other state parties successfully.

Even though VHCOA is a non-Govt organization was successful stood united in fighting towards Non Crane Hires paid clients and declared them as Default parties.

After finally our VHCOA has been merged with “CRANE OWNERS ASSOCIATION OF INDIA” Mumbai and we are happy to say that it’s a good platform for us a lot to fight issues on National level.
